OUR HISTORY
During the financial crisis in 2008-2010, people started surrendering their horses, donkeys, mules, cattle, goats, sheep, chickens and yes, llamas. The Sanctuary was formed and we have been moving forward ever since.
Desert Springs Equestrian Center & Sanctuary (DSEC) take the critical cases of abuse and abandonment of any livestock. We have the facilities and equipment to lift downed animals, various medical stalls and equipment. DSEC works under the direction of veterinarians.

TRAINING
DSEC offers a variety of training programs for horses of all levels and disciplines. From basic groundwork to advanced dressage and jumping, our experienced trainers can work with horses to achieve various training goals.

Boarding
Desert Springs Equestrian Center offers short-term boarding services for medical needs, foaling and vacations. With spacious stalls and daily turnout, DSEC provides an ideal environment for horses to thrive.

Our property boasts 65 acres of beautiful and fully fenced land with a variety of facilities that are available for private and corporate events such as equine events, canine events, and corporate parties of all sizes.

We are dedicated to providing care, rehabilitation, and new homes for neglected, abused, or abandoned animals. We work to ensure the well-being and welfare of these magnificent animals.
